Worst experience at the ER with my 83 year old mother who can’t speak and a nurse Named Sarah S left the tourniquet on her arm for almost an hour. Had I not been there, we don’t know how much worse it could have gotten. My mother suffered large blood clots due to her negligence and incompetence. ★ 1 Star – Extremely Disappointing Experience I would not recommend Dr. Michael D. Spickler based on our experience with my son’s postoperative pain management. My son had just undergone major spinal surgery and was experiencing extreme, severe pain. As his family, it was heartbreaking to watch him suffer while we repeatedly asked for help. A pain medication order was placed after surgery, yet Dr. Spickler did not respond to it for approximately 18 hours. 5 night time emergency room visits in the last several years for my family including a compound fractured ankle and never been seen in less than 90 minutes….usually one doctor and one nurse. No triage first come first serve. Poor communication from front desk. They always say they are waiting for beds but they have 1200 and when you go back there’s empty beds. Let’s face it $$$$$. Is anywhere else better?
My grandpa did his heart surgery they kept on monitoring and was very good hospital loved it definitely recommend it they have the best cardio thoracic surgeons and loved they had loads of floors and many critical care and it was a very good experience
It’s a complicated business the medical field, but it’s inexcusable to sit in a hospital room for six hours waiting to see a doctor when you’re fine and just waiting to be discharged.
