We have been using them for years. Most of the time I am working and send my wife and kids in without me. Today I picked up my wife's contacts and while paying I ask how much of a discount did I receive with our insurance. I'm told, sir you have to ask us to file it on your insurance. I'm like, we have VSP on file with your office right? She says yes sir but we don't use your insurance unless you ask. The company policy of a “contact lens fee” is unbelievable. I have been wearing the same contacts since I was in high school and there is NO reason to charge me fees that are not even applied to insurance. I tried to talk to the office manager the day I left and she wouldn’t come to the front desk. So I had to go speak with her later. There is no sign stating that at the end of my exam someone will charge me $55 EXTRA dollars, and the tech didn’t tell me either. The doctor was very nice, but I do not do fraudulent charges.
