My son was admitted here twice, once as a newborn for jaundice and recently as an infant for bronchiolitis, and our experience could not have been better. It was excellent care starting from the ER, the inpatient staff, from nurses to physicians to supporting staff including lactation consultants and child life, everyone was incredibly kind, compassionate, supportive, and the care was absolutely world-class. I would 100% recommend this place and I appreciate the hard work and kindness of everyone there.
We were transferred from a different hospital without a pediatric unit to here, so our experience in the ER was basically just waiting for the room upstairs to be ready, which our son mostly slept through. Not being familiar with this hospital, I got pretty nervous reading theough the reviews on here during that time, though. This is the worst hospital ever. Abusive, disrespectful, and they do not care about anyone. Avoid this place.
Extremely bad service. The children's PICU is run by newly graduated resident doctors who have no idea what's happening. If your child has rare disorder or something serious you might want to avoid this PICU at any cost. They only have 8 rooms in PICU and doctor numbers are extremely limited. Most nurses are good except few of them who are extremely unprofessional. But if the service isn't good everything else really doesn't matter. Our 5 weeks old had an incarcerated hernia so we went to the ER and were later transferred to Pediatrics. Within 12 hrs, he underwent surgery. The staff, especially the nurses at Pediatrics and Dr Akay were exceptional, very caring and competent! The only thing we did not like was that the rooms and furniture seem really outdated (at least 20 years old) and uncomfortable. Medicalvise we felt really taken care off. Thank you!
