Excellent experience in this hospital, the staff was just awesome!
If I can give zero star, I would do it. My baby is one and half, we took him to Beaumont emergency room because of difficulty breathing and vomiting. Doctors there are good, did chest x ray, blood work, suspect pneumonia, given antibiotics through IV. iV was perfectly secured, then we were transferred to royal oak hospital. That is when the nightmares started: nurse cut the well secured IV since she said she cannot see anything. Not a great experience waited 2 hours for a room. Seen many patients leave but the staff at the desk were to busy talking and looking for Lions tickets. Asked when we would be seen or would get a room and staff was earateted that I even ask and they didn't know. Ended up walking out.
I would give this place zero stars if I could. My daughter has been seen at some of the best hospitals in the country this is not one of them. The attending this morning literally told me I was being insulting for asking how they were going to draw my daughters blood as she is a hard poke and needs an ultrasound guided draw which they don’t do he told me I was being insulting and that parents don’t talk they listen because they are the experts and he was passing the case off to his colleague because he wasn’t going to be ins... read more
