Dr. Currie is absolutely amazing.
The MD I saw here was very nice and professional. Its sad that the facility is set up to rob people. It is set up as an outpatient facility owned by St Elizabeths. As such, it is able to charge as an outpatient and not an office visit for a specialist. This bypasses many peoples copays and is able to charge patients more. Being a facility owned by a hospital, it is also allowed to charge a facility fee even its a normal office visit. I like my doctor but beware... your billing will have crazy charges because the doctors there don’t have their own offices!! You are also paying for them to rent out that space from St. E and they have the right to charge that! I am a Medical Biller and called to talk to my Insurance company because they billed me for Out Patient surgery and post surgery which I never had. I paid my Specialist Copay to be seen only for them to Bill it where it falls under a deductible because they are renting that office space that isn’t the... read more
