I have been a patient of Dr. Brown's for 31 years. Since becoming a part of Charleston ENT the customer service of the office personnel has declined. I called today to make an appointment and got transferred to the billing dept. for $46.11. I asked to pay it in the office prior to an appointment and they declined that and refused to make me an appointment without the balance being paid in full. RecommendedI took my 7-month-old daughter to see Dr. Bennett last week regarding a peanut allergy. He was incredibly attentive and thorough in helping me understand the path forward and explaining the situation. I'm glad we'll have him looking after our daughter and can turn to him when we have questions.
before running a test on a patient. please call the insurance company first with a correct cpt code and secondly notified the patient to see if this test is affordable to the patient. Just not bill me AFTER. That's wrong No not recommending no one bad billing.

staff needs to be more personable. don't care just about the money. people have insurance for a reason. I would not recommend them to friends and family.

From scheduling and reception, to medical history/triage, to the abundant time Dr. McNellis spent with us explaining the procedure and answering questions- Charleston ENT surpassed all of our expectations. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient- and the office is state-of-the-art. I highly recommended this practice to anyone requiring ENT/Allergy services.
