Constantly rezoning students due to lack of forward planning and an outdated civil rights initiative + a district wide uniform policy that has no purpose except straining parents wallets = a school district in need of a MASSIVE overhaul....
Beaufort county school district needs to do better !!!!!!! And you should make your staff apologize to a student and the parents when they do them wrong !!!!! Since when is it acceptable for a teacher to yell at a student and the teacher start to apologize but the principal stop her from doing so ???? No love for our students on this blistery cold morning yet the surrounding counties announced a delayed start early last evening. Shame on the officials as you stay warm in your homes while our children stand at their bus stops in the dark 7 degree (wind chill) temps.

Can we get a later high school start time like HHI high school? So many positive facts results: higher scores, happier people, less car wrecks, attendance, less substance abuse...list goes on.
There needs to be a deputy put at Broad River Elementary in the afternoons to help with traffic. I live directly across the street from the school and have had issues getting into my driveway both days. I thought parents were told that they could not turn left into the school during afternoon pick up. There is going to be a head on collision if this issue is not resolved.
