Ugh I asked them specifically to give me someone who specializes in blonde haircolour. The person who was my stylist was late seeing me, kept me there for waaaay to long....and my hair is now orange. I called him and though he 'tried" to fix it, my hair is sooo not blonde. I think Susan is nice and Juan looks as though he knows what he is doing...In fact..my stylist was asking "everyone" if what he was doing would be "ok" to correct. I paid $200 for this nightmare..I won't be back!
Not a Spa First, I want to say, I have gotten my hair done for over 15 years and have never complained, ever. I move every 2 years and have went to Aveda salons and spas all over the country (WV, VA, PA, CA, IL, NY, KY and OH). Every time I move, I look for an Aveda salon. When I walked into this salon (not a spa) I was surprised at how much it did not look like or have the feel like a spa (not even close). However, I was desperate to get my hair done. Great service, great products, great folks I have been a customer at Beau Totale since it opened and have know Susan for years. They do an exceptional job with the entire experience once you get in the door. Susan has done a marvelous job in creating an atmosphere that is comfortable for guys and gals. The staff is very professional and courteous with the customers and I would recommend their services ... especially for the guys. We are always welcome at Beau Totale!Keep up the great service!!
Beau Totale is worth every penny you spend. I would recommend Monica to anyone who has difficult hair. I have extremely thick and course hair and other salons always want to cut it the way they think it should be. Monica listens to you and and tells you what she thinks would be best for you before cutting it. I have had my haircut by alot of different places for alot cheaper and have hated my hair. I think Monica is worth every penny I spend.
One of DC area's best Terrific Aveda Concept Salon with a full line of Aveda products and which fully supports the Aveda vision of natural products and environmental soundness. Very professional staff and ownership. They go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and well taken care of. Susan, Juan and Maria are all great stylists here. A good experience and more than just your average hair cut. Highly recommended.
Thank god for Beau Totale and Juan Perez I found Juan at another salon about 2 years ago where I fell in love with his artistic and creative abilities. One day he was gone from that salon and never called in me, in fear of breaching his non-compete. I stumbled upon him at Beau Totale and love the fact that he is in a salon that is great. Pass up this place at your own risk... I usually hate getting my hair cut... i would usually have something in mind, but never know how to say it, and i was never fully satisfied with cuts. Till Aveda ... I would highly recommend this solon to all ages, genders and styles. Specifically, Maria is very friendly, well educated, and creative. She really will give the haircut YOU want, and if you are having trouble decided what to do, she gives great advice with your personality and lifestyle in mind. I never go to anyone else!
Rising Star in DC Metro Salons and Spas I followed Juan from an extremely overrated and over-priced Salon in Old Town (Circe) and have remained loyal to him for years. In truth, after Juan left Circe, I searched for him for months (with my horrendous roots serving as proof) until I finally stumbled upon him at a small Aveda-concepts salon in Burke, named Beau totale.
