Too much of a bad thing – Carb's overload. Too much dough, not enough of the good stuff, under cooked. I don't care about honey for dipping. Give me more of what I am paying for, cheese and toppings!
It's no copy, its Colorado pie! – It's not like Chicago pizza. It's not like NY pizza. It's not like Boston pizza. It's Colorado pie! Very unique selections, fun atmosphere, nothing better after a long day of skiing. They are not trying to copy any other pizza. HOWEVER, I only recommend the Idaho Springs location. I am usually disapointed when visiting the other locations. Not because they are bad, but because they don't live up to the Idaho Springs standards.
POOR Choice!!!!!!!! – I've been to Beau Jo's several times, each time hoping that the outcome will be different, and each time coming away with the feeling that I'd been somehow cheated. You get drawn in by the lore you hear about them from other people who obviously don't realize what truly good pizza is. If you want GOOD pizza, go to Pietra's on 44th Ave about half way between Wadsworth and Kipling on the noth side tucked back into the shopping center. They're closed on Mondays, but that is well worth it considering they h... read more
Mostly Crust – I had looked forward to dining at Beau Jo's because of the wonderful things I had heard about the pizza. The pizza was good, but it was almost all crust! I like crust, but not that much! I wouldn't go back again.
Very different from the others! – I have always loved Beau Jo's because it is so different from the other pizza places, and you can't beat the honey on the crust.
Kudos from Boston – Best Pizza anywhere! I live in Boston, and still think this place in Idaho Springs, CO is the best!
Hope your hungry – I have loves Beau Jo's since I first had it in Boulder. This was when it was still located above Herbie's Deli (now known as The Sink) on the hill. Since then I have found no other like it. My favorite: Whole wheat crust, Beau Jo's own sauce, Canadian Bacon, Pineapple, and Jalapeno's with provolone cheese. Add the famous bottle of honey and a cold pitcher of beer, and you are good to go. Take a road trip and check out the one in Idaho Springs. You won't regret it.
You HAVE to try this place – It's more than pizza. You've never had pizza until you've eaten here. Awesome service, too!
Best Rocky Mountain Pizza – This is no american chain. This restraunt company resides in Colorado. They make the best one of a kind pizzas. They are very exotic to choose from very decent priced and also provide different sauces besides the red sauce. I would highly recommend it!
