The Best Music Store EVER! – Amoeba is the best music store I have ever seen. They have the greatest selection of used CDs anywhere. You can find almost anything here. And if you can't, come back in a week and it will be there. The only problem is that their used DVDs are a bit pricey. You may as well buy a new DVD if the used are so high priced.
The Best – I have shopped for records on four continents and have never NEVER found a better selection or value than at Amoeba.
helluva store – if it's rare, out-of-print or too indie to imagine, then it'll be at amoeba. while theirelectronicasection and staff seem bewildered and are not well-versed in that genre, this is more than made up for when you begin the great exploration. if you have time, say hi to tom, in the buying section -- he's one of amoeba's best hidden secrets.

Great quality, diverse selection – My husband and I recently bought 28 cd's there, about 18 of them were used. I was a skeptical about the quality and was pleasantly surprised to find the cd's were in mint condition. Seriously, it looked like they had been opened but never played.
