I went to seek counseling and left more traumatized by her demeanor and lack of empathy She felt very rigid and had a demeanor of someone who is blunt and condemning Most horrible experience I have ever had My husband said never again after first evaluation

I felt like Beatriz Galvis was not for me. I had a hard time finding a therapist because of my anxiety so I was saddened to find out how cold hearted and uncompassionate she was during our first session. I would have tried again with her but after the appointment I felt more anxiety, more paranoia and more fear of rejection. She wanted me to have a primary care doctor, a physical, a psychiatric evaluation and a change of routine in order to continue to be seen by her. Beatriz was not for me. She was very much rule based and had a terribly cold demeanor. She always asked for the money upfront, which made it even more transactional. I truly feel that feeling warmth and compassion from a therapist is highly important, she was the EXACT opposite. I’m seeing someone new now, and he’s wonderful, warm, and compassionate. Big difference!!

I have seen Dr Beatriz on and off for several years. She is great. She will put you on the path for joy in your life.
