Amazing food! Loved the atmosphere in the place!!
Finally got to get here. So worth it! Despite the open air set up its not overly loud. We had the brisket, burnt ends, wings, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and bourbon pecan pie. Plus they have Hosmer on tap! The food was great, the sauces dynamic, the coleslaw was one of a kind, the mac and cheese was very good, and the pie was to die for. Thank you for making it well worth the drive!
Amazing lunch today in the Hartford location! Chicken was juicy and I loved the texas pepper bbq sauce.
Best BBQ around! There was a line out the door when we arrived on a Saturday at 5:00 but it moved quickly and the food was totally worth it! We got a family pack- great value!
My husband & I went for the first time & LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! We had brisket, cole slaw, BBQ beans, baked potato, smoked wings... It was all great! The sauces were Great! And to top it off they have Hosmer Mountain fountain soda!!! Their cole slaw is sweet( just the way I like it!!!) I only usually like my mom's slaw & shady glen. Can't wait to try the Hartford location ( since it's so much closer)...
After hearing good feedback about Bear's from several people, I decided to check this place out with a friend. We went on a Friday afternoon, before the dinner rush. I had the half rack with sriracha sauce, cornbread and apple crisp. The cornbread was okay, not great, but the ribs and apple crisp were delicious. I want to go back already it was that good.
I'm originally from the south and to know that I can now get the best BBQ I've ever had here in the heart of CT, well that just makes me a happy girl!!! Forever a southern girl at heart but now can enjoy that as a new englander! Keep up the great work bear's!
The food I tried the other day was fair at best...very disappointing since my first visit there was great!
Our first time here and we'll be back! The Burnt Ends are amazing!! Friendly staff too! :)
