Loved going to the race every year when I lived in Minnesota in the late nineties. I even wrote a feature article for a South African magazine with lots of photos, one year. I will always remember standing around a camp fire on the Gunflint Trail, waiting for teams to come in. Amazing memories.
Looking forward to another great year up at Sawbill.
Enjoyed volunteering again this year. It was a challenge to all with the severe weather, but truly enjoyed spending time at Finland between road crossing shifts. Met more awesome people, and saw some of the old friends. Can't wait for next year. This is my favorite event of the year!
