RecommendedDr. Stevenson and Dr. Newett have been treating my geriatric cat for several years and have been spot on with her treatment. Besides old age and having kidney disease, all the care she has gotten keeps her a happy cat. As she prepares for her 22nd birthday, I know she would not be here if not for the wonderful care she has received. Would not take her anywhere else and recommend to anyone wanting compassionate CAT care.
We boarded our (VERY senior) little dog here, and they took great care of her! After dropping her off, they called to make sure the behavior she was exhibiting was normal, and while we were gone, the great staff gave her her medicine and a bath. When I went to pick her up, she looked refreshed and came out wrapped in a little blanket! We won’t be boarding her anywhere else.
I've been to a few vet clinics in Lakewood and this one is by far the best one. Very friendly, professional, and educated staff. I certainly trust them and would recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.

If you lost your dog and BVVCC is the place that happens to find or intake your lost dog, you better be sure to bring your wallet. Whether they are kenneled or not they charge you for keeping your lost dog for 30 mins.! Who charges for waving a wand and making a call?

However, our staff has no memory of such a situation, we have no record of you or your dog, and the fact is we would never charge for holding a lost pet for a short time—that’s not our policy. Perhaps you have mistaken us for another veterinary hospital? If you are sure this occurred at our facility, please contact us at the practice so we can correct your invoice immediately.
