We come here for breakfast from time to time. My wife loves the SOS. I am always surprised with the size of the ham steak that comes with breakfast, most other restaurants are really skimpy with ham anymore and not to mention the home fries, we love their method of preparation, and not greasy either. The quality of food and service has been consistently good for us. Would recommend to anyone.
Come to Macungie annually for DasAuscht feste. Since eatery we would go to burnt down resorted to try Bear Swamp and glad we did!Conveniently located to field..... Hearty portions of food at fair or better prices! We're return customers! Try it!

As a Macungie resident for the past 42 years, Bear Swamp was always the place to go. The service and food was always excellent. When Georgia and Mike took over running the diner, it continued this tradition. I have visited the diner once since the newest management took over. It is difficult as the hours have been ridiculously reduced. It is closed more than it is open.
