I have had amazing therapists with Bear River. Before Bear River, I was very skeptical about therapy, but now I look forward to going to my appointments. I am learning more about myself and how to process the things that have happened in my life. I highly recommend this facility.
This service only accepts medicaid and or medicare, which serves a target group of people and this is a good thing because the outrageous price of having this service would otherwise be unavailable. There are several MSW but only one Psychologist and one Psychiatrist at each facility (there are two), plus a supervisor. A good portion of this target group are those who get services because a court orders them to or because they have to, not because they want to. my son has gone through about 6 different therapist in the last 2 years. they also don't seem to have a person certified to deal with my son's problems. not a good thing. i also don't like how some of the therapist over there are not licensed to do the job. if it was for an internship that is one thing but they are getting paid to work there. it hard to find a good therapist there. sucks when that is the only place that your insurance will pay for you to go.
