Wonderful property, great amenities, great location! We enjoyed cooking or bringing in food. Wonderful bedrooms and a wrap around porch. We spent so much time on the porch....we didn't want to leave. The owner is great, responsive, easy to work with. We'll return!
Cannot say enough great things about Bear Creek Retreat house. Five of us stayed for a week and honestly, it's so comfortable we were just as happy hanging out as exploring around Austin! Everything you could want and more is here...kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms are all beautifully decorated, and whatever you might need is likely here. We love to stay here! It's roomy, great for family events and our hostess is easy to work with and very responsive..
My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Bear Creek Retreat for our wedding - Caroline was easy to work with and extremely communicative, and the grounds were gorgeous! Everyone was blown away by how lovely the venue was, and the cottage was the perfect calm oasis for us during all the wedding hubbub. I highly recommend Bear Creek Retreat to anyone looking for a venue for their DIY wedding!
