I had been seeing Pat for several months, and in one of my sessions, she told me that if anything came up in between sessions, I was welcome to email her. A few weeks later, I sent her an email, regarding something we had been working on. She replied and said she would take a look at it. The following week, she apologized and said she had forgotten to respond. The next week, she canceled our appointment 1 1/2 hours before my session. Katie is a great therapist. I feel like I can be my true self with no judgement. I want to improve and get better. I feel like she will help me accomplish my goals and give me the tools and coping skills needed to better my mental health. When I’ve gone in therapy in the past I have definitely felt like I have just been paying someone to talk to me and would leave feeling worse. Katie talks to me like a human, not like I’m sick or crazy. Thank you for seeing me as an equal and all of your help.

I liked the therapist I saw but when I first walked in, the guy that was sitting at the desk to check in was laying all the way back with his feet kicked up on another chair while he was on his phone. He was wearing a smiths shirt and hat. To me, that is EXTREMELY unprofessional and comes off as not wanting to be there. After my session I came out and he was doing the same thing. Body language is everything especially at a therapists office.
