You guys are hands down my favorite machine shop in san diego. They work hard and do it right the first time. Very nice. Amazing communication. They have experience with anything you need. I took my toyota supra engine to them and will definitely be driving to them no matter the distance. It's hard to find reliable machine shops these days. Don't expect fast turn around times they are a small business. I had a great experience with this shop. My 2004 Rubicon with 20k miles was leaking from the rear main seal. I was having trouble replacing the seal and it was suggested I needed an engine pull and new crank due to pitting on the seal journal. I called SDC and sent them pics of the crank seal journal. This is the cool part; they reviewed the pics and found the seal journal acceptable. SDC then went so far as to help me out, a DIYer in distress, recommending rotation of the seal and how to place the sealants. I was freaking o... read more
