Our Food is as authentic as the view because we only use lobster that comes off our pier. Our beef is Maine-raised, and our vegetables are locally grown. On top of the classic Maine lobster dinner and rolls, we will update our menu throughout the season with special dishes - including plenty of gluten-free options.

This place is awesome!! My 3.7 lb lobster was cooked perfectly. Sitting on the back deck enjoying the sunset was the ending to a great day. I have also used them to send live lobsters in December to Illinois and they have always arrived in great condition. All the employees were friendly. The guy unloading crabs and lobster answered my questions and even came up and talked to us. Thank you or a great evening.
Best Lobster Roll of our lives and we have been coming up here a lot over more than 30 years . Looking forward to our next Beal's meal .
A typical lobster shack with one difference. The food. Any lobster shack you can get fresh lobster but here everything is fresh!! The scallops were the best fired I had ever had. The lobster roll was one of the biggest on the island and all at good prices. Food is sold by the pound and their fishermen's platter easily serves two. I have been coming to Bar Harbor for twenty plus years and this will be my new go to place
Here's my review : Best lobster pound on mt. Desert island. Best service. Best drinks. Great atmosphere. Fun music. Nice people. We tried others while on vacation here and ate at Beals 3 times! Can't say a negative thong about this place. Get here.
Shop was as expected, quite the menu. Had the lobster roll which was full of lobster, probably close to a lb. of meat. Had it with garlic butter, taste was fantastic. Will keep shop in mind for future trip.
Local feel, friendly staff, great food - would go there again & again!
