This is the best bead store in philly. The staff are lovely, there's a great work space and a very wide selection of beads and stones. I often take my daughters there to make things and we spend a few hours there without being rushed.
Over priced but usually has what you need in a pinch. I go there a few times a year when I don't get my orders done on line. The gals are really nice and helpful but today the woman was completely rude when I tried to describe to her what I was looking for. Her tone of voice suggested I was annoying her beyond belief and that I was stupid for even asking my question about a certain type of supply.
Where else in the area can you buy high grade strands of Malachite and Lapis and pick from an impressive wall of gemstone briolettes? Nowhere. That's where. This place is awesome, and the people who work there are great.
