Found a new vacation place to eat. The Beacon will be an annual insertion into our culinary experiences at New Smyrna Beach. We plan out our vacation based on restaurants. This place will be a breakfast, lunch and dinner stop. Good food at a great value.
Food is always good. Service is great. We just love going there.
The food was ok. My niece found a hair in her pancakes. On top of that we waited and hour and 15 minutes to get it! Not a place to take people if you're hungry and want to eat right away.
I am a local who has frequented Beacon for 6 years. I love their food and their waitress staff, but ever since they added additional seating outside, their service has been EXTREMELY SLOW! The owner is not staffing his kitchen appropriately!! Be prepared for a 45 minute wait in the mid morning.
Expect a long wait time for breakfast...over 30 min. And when we inquired we were just given excuses. Goodbye Beacon...we will find a new breakfast place.
Love this restaurant! I believe I have been going here for over 40 years.
