The property was dirty. Mold in bathrooms, walls, floors, baseboards and doors were covered in stains, dirt and dust. While the pictures are beautiful, it did not reflect the actual condition. Management was responsive to our complaints of dirt and a clogged bathtub drain, the property could have not been brought up to cleanliness standards in an hour.
My review was taken down by them so I’m putting it up again: ZERO! Hurricane with MANDATORY evacuation orders given, cannot physically get to property because of the hurricane and again, MANDATORY, county/state issued evacuation. REFUSES to give back any money for "weather ". . Have been on phone over 5 hours over 2 days with VRBO and messages with Beach Walk trying to get resolved from another state due to a Catastrophic category 3 hurricane. Unfortunately, my experience with Beach Walk Rental Properties was extremely disappointing. The property was not what was advertised in the listing, and several of the amenities and conditions presented in the listing did not match what we actually received. The property was also far dirtier and more poorly maintained than expected. Upon arrival, there were noticeable cleanliness issues throughout the property, and it did not feel like it had been properly cleaned or prepared for guests. This was our third year staying at Beachwalk and it will be our last. The good news is that the beach is awesome and there are a lot of things for the family to do. We rented a large house to fit the 14 people in our family. Fun time. Bad thing was rent increase by 30+%, the place was filthy when we moved in (picture of one of the toilets attached), door locks that had not worked in the past not working, garbage and recycling not picked up from the previous renters and never picked us when we were there.
