We had a wonderful family Christmas at the Tryon Farmhouse, managed by Beachwalk Rentals. We needed a large home for six adults and two toddlers to stay, plus extended family to visit during the five days we spent there. Management suggested this wonderful place and it was perfect. A one hundred year old farmhouse with gorgeous, original features, but with updated kitchen and bathrooms. We made perfect Christmas memories there!
Bed bug bites appeared day after stay, Disappointing Experience, and Poor Response to Concerns My group and I stayed at Wood Berry in November and unfortunately, our experience was marred by significant issues. Shortly after my stay, both I and another guest developed skin reactions. I was diagnosed by two doctors with bed bug bites, and a subsequent skin biopsy confirmed an arthropod reaction. Our group rented a home on the lake in Beachwalk for a 60th birthday celebration. It is a beautiful and charming community built for relaxing and is very family-oriented, clean, and has plenty of activities. Lake Michigan is walking distance to the Beackwalk community.
