My window installer recommended Mr Ken Karr at Beaches Construction to open up a brick wall. Mr Karr's quote was 1k more than the lowest quote I received, but I went with him anyway. After the engineer report came back, Mr Karr doubled the price. Owner wanted to charge $460 for a door that sells for $168 retail (my price). After I questioned the price for a fiberglass door, the owner and manger (Kenneth Karr) assured me that they had very little profit margin on the door. Upon showing them the same door I purchased and the receipt the owner and his employees turned red faced speechless.
