I have been taking my animals here for over 20 years. The staff is compassionate, gentle, and animal loving. All know how to keep their calm and handle safely and quickly a scared animal- before the critter even knows it, they have had an exam or grooming. Dr. Abraham has wonderful observational and assessment skills. She senses subtle changes and knows when intervention in needed and when "lets watch it" is ok, avoiding unnecessary treatment. I love you guys! The Staff and Doctors are friendly, loving & compassionate. They saved our daughter Jazzy when we thought hope was lost and was able to amputate her leg... They treat your non-human family like their family & not just another patient!!! God bless you all! (Special shout-out to the SEXY, short haired Doctor! I forgot your name hun... Employees are nice and Dr's are very good. They treated well our Kimchi.
Two years ago, my fur baby had surgery in Fox Lake. Up until then we had taken all 3 of our dogs to the Winthrop Harbor Animal Hospital. Tank broke a stitch open and Winthrop Harbor refused to treat him because they didn't do the surgery, they didn't do it because they REFUSED to do it. Brought Cammie in for grooming today and am completely happy with her new do! She did a great job and gave Cammie the exact cut I requested! We will definitely be back!!!!
