Great Retreat Center Wow, what a beautiful place to spend 3 days in a conference - though it is really hard to leave the private patio with a fantastic view of the ocean. The room is really spacious with all the right technology hook ups. Staff have been very sweet. Others in my group are distressed that there is no restaurant or bar ... but with all this beauty, who needs to eat or drink?
Terrible Service The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The problem I had was with the staff. Upon leaving, Galina announced that we had some unpaid expenses to the lobby full of visitors. It was quite embarrasing. We received this trip as a gift from our daughter and did not think there were extra expenses. Galina stated that this was not true. In the end, we were right. The bill had been taken care of for over a month. She did not apologize and we left the hotel uncomfortable. A few of the other guest who overheard Galina off... read more
Highly Recommended We loved this hotel. The hotel sits right on the edge of the bay and the views are spectacular. The rooms are nice and comfortable. My husband and I enjoyed the Friday night wine and cheese in the lobby. It's a short drive to San Francisco, so it was a perfect location for my husband to drive there for business, while my children an I hung out in the heated pool and jaguzzi and went next door to the Chowder House for dinner!
Beach House Hotel This was a very nice hotel. The rooms were large and very clean. The hotel over looks the Bay. The staff was very accommodating. Very close to great restaurants. Beach access for walking. We would return again. I would recommend it!
Great Half Moon Bay inn This hotel is one of our favorite coastal get-aways! The rooms are very comfortable with gas fireplaces and a wonderful view of the ocean.The hotel is right on the coastside trail - very nice to walk or bike along the ocean for a few miles. Other nice features include ocean-front pool and hot tub, a large wood burning fireplace in the lobby, and a good continental breakfast.
