We had an absolutely incredible stay at the Sala Suite with Beach Escape Rentals near Upham Beach! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. My pregnant, adult daughter and I did a mini girls vaca this week and we have loved every minute of staying here! We love everything about it. We’ve stayed in many places here in Destin and this is probably one of our favorites! It’s very comfortable and very well decorated. The beds were great and so were the couches! The kitchen was perfect and well stocked! We will def try and stay here again! Thank you!
Seawind 6 in Destin: This vacation unit was extremely poorly maintained, with significant wear and tear. The water pressure was very low, the sinks were clogged, and the dishwasher smelled like sewage. None of the outdoor lights worked. The owner/manager lied about the AC situation: there is only one thermostat on the second floor with a single working vent downstairs, which doesn't even blow enough to move a piece of paper. We had a reservation for a condo at emerald waters that beach escapes manages in May. When we arrived at the unit, we found out that the elevators were out of service, and would not be fixed during the duration of our stay. We were traveling with our senior, arthritic dog who could not manage the stairs so we needed to find alternate accommodations.
