I don’t recommend this place to anyone Black with coily hair. Went in for a straight shave with added skin prep and while the service was nice, my face wasn’t smoothly shaven. There was still stubble. When I asked the barber, he told me he doesn’t cleanly shave coily hair because it may be prone to ingrown hair, but if I’m paying $80 for a straight shave, I want my face smooth.
