I saw Dr. Morgan and didn't like him at all. I asked for a repeat x ray and that was ignored. He was not very nice at all. He told my ac tear in my shoulder is a grade 2 not a grade 3 when my clinical notes clearly states a grade 3. He argued with me saying he is the shoulder specialist and Dr. Gregario isn't. You don't argue with a patient. Just because you're a shoulder specialist doesn't mean anything. I will stick with Dr. Mellano.
The front office is inefficient and two their offices don’t communicate. Seems that since BCO was acquired by Keck USC they are completely disorganized. Good luck getting anyone to answer your call or call you back. Trying to schedule a MRI for an order that Dr. Georgio wrote last month is like asking for a miracle. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. Sad and comical. I don’t recommend them.
Went in and saw Dr. Morgan today. The front desk checked me in and within 5 minutes his nurse came out and brought me into exam room. Went over all of my medical history and she was very thorough! Dr Morgan saw me immediately and went over my X-ray and my symptoms and explained my options! He is very knowledgeable and recommended a gel injection in my knee. I’m so happy to find Beach Cities Orthopedics and would highly recommend them! Thanks Dr. Morgan
Be prepared to wait for 1.5 hours. Our appointment was at 11:15. We had another commitment at 12:45 and we were told we would not make it because they were running so far behind. This is second time it happened to me here and I’ve gone to this place 3 times, ie probability of 67% of them being “extremely behind”. I do not recommend and we would not back here. My suggestion is maybe don’t overschedule? Thanks!
Think twice before coming to this place especially requesting MRI unless you have fabulous insurance plan or don't care to get ripped off. They didnt disclose their cost at front and would bill you more after. If I knew a wrist MRI they'd charge $1333 total I'd not have the service there at all.
