I've been going to James and Be Bright for years, because he's amazing with hair and also a genuinely great person. James has a knack for putting you at ease the moment you sit down and he's fun to speak with. He plays great music and I often find a new tune to listen to, when there. James is masterful with hair. I love this man. He treats me and my hair with so much care and so much love- and I am grateful to be tended to by him. His salon is exactly like the name suggests. It is bright and airy. Beautiful. Do yourself the favor and let him take care of you. 🩷Â
James has been doing my hair for the last 18 years. When I found him I never looked for another stylist again! He’s colored and cut my hair through various photo shoots, band album covers, and gigs. He is a master of color. I’ve done blue, pink, blonde, and every time it’s flawless. His cuts are also perfection - I’ve had him take me from having super long hair to cutting 12 inches off into an adorable bob. And his blowouts are fab. I’d trust him to do anything with my hair. He is the best in the biz!Â
appointment was cancelled with less than 24 hrs notice and there was no effort made to rectify. Only option was to rebook with a whole new stylist (over a week later) at a whole new (double) price point. Independent contractor/rented chair or not, its a poor reflection on the salon as a whole.Â
I had my hair done by Ed, and even after showing him reference photos and clearly explaining that I wanted blonde highlights, the final result was a dark orange color. I never restricted the use of bleach or any other products he felt were necessary, yet he still couldn’t achieve simple blonde highlights. He also claimed that my hair was too dark.
