Never had a problem booking and they even got me in early because I live out of town. Nice staff
I want to thank the receptionist and technician I had for my mammogram on Thursday April 13, 2023 at the Kamloops Screening Centre on Columbia st. I was greeted by a lady with such a friendly and welcoming disposition and then waited only 15 mins (I was 30 mins early) before I was brought into the exam room by the kindest technician ever who was incredibly thorough and professional yet funny, gentle, and compassionate. I would give zero stars if I could. Very rude and disrespectful front staff. My mom has just been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I have had consistent screening for the past 10 years. Most people getting screened probably know someone or has a family member with cancer, which comes with feelings of anxiety having screening done. Compassion and basic human dignity should be a given. I get COVID restrictions, and workers feeling fatigue. However, Patients feel it too.
