For as good as their reputation may be I'm not really impressed. It's still a great music venue but the food is so-so.
So on a whim I found this place was like an hour walk. I figured I'd give it a shot, I had nothing else going on. When I walked in, I knew I had found the right place. The smell of BBQ was right there, you can sit wherever you want, and the band was about to start. For a four dollar cover it was a steal. I picked up the Yardbird Combo, quarter chicken and ribs with fries. Delicious. I have found my new chill spot in Kansas City.

One of my favorite places. I love the bb king platter. Sausage is great. Only knock I have is the beans could be better. Atmosphere and Service are great.

We had so much fun at BB's. We were there for the Saturday afternoon open mic. We had a couple of the appetizers, which were scrumptious! Mama Ray is an amazingly remarkable voice at 72 years old! All of the music was high quality. The staff was friendly and on the ball, and were having a good time! The prices were reasonable and the beer was cold!
