Really good food. The staff was very welcoming. I love the fact that they have music every night. I found this place because of Samantha Fish.
Great service. Burnt ends and meatloaf was good. Hurricane drink was also good. But the bread pudding was the best.
Drink selection is broad for a BBQ joint. Food tends toward Cajun style, which differentiates it a bit from the multitude of great KC Barbeque places. We mainly go for the live music. The great food and drinks are a bonus to entice us to go out.

Thought we'd have a patriotic lunch on July 4.....BBQ, beer & some blues so where else would you go? Food was excellent. BB's spicey sauce is my favorite in the city. Our server was fantastic (tall guy...Josh? Jason?....sorry) and John Lee Hooker was singing for us. Totally enjoyed everything.
Wanted to make a quick stop for supper. Family watches Triple DDD on Food Network and came up with BB's and Blues. Good food and friendly staff. Music was awesome and had a great time knowing our neighbors that we ate with. Would go back again!!!!
