The hosts can be a little unfriendly when you first walk in the door, though. We arrived at Bazin's on Church at 5:20 pm on Saturday night. We did not have reservations but the place was empty. The host asked if we had reservations and we told him we did not. He replied, "Oh, can you get out of here by 6:30 pm?" We said we could. He then proceeded to seat us at a two-top table that was about one foot from another table. We asked if we could sit at an adjacent table that had more privacy. Despite the fact that the restaurant was empty, our host said, "I am afraid this one is reserved." He made no attem... read more
