We had a good experience staying here. The staff were friendly. The only issue was the noise at night (on Friday and Saturday nights, the local establishments had live music and the noise was loud. Also, there were young people shouting and driving recklessly, and one of them even crashed into the roundabout on Saturday night). I don't think it's a problem with the hotel itself, but rather with the location, which is why I gave the hotel 5 stars. It was good. Just don't expect a very quiet place. This has to be the worst hotel room I've ever stayed in. After we made the booking I received a message saying that the room we had booked was unrenovated and could ungrade to renovated room for an extra cost. We decided to go with the original room, what a big mistake, not only was this unrenovated it was disgustingly dirty. We found empty alcohol bottles in the wardrobe and bathroom, there was mould and rust in the bathroom and the floors was filthy. Everyone working there were lovely and helpful great holiday.
We stayed here on a Saturday night when there was live music playing across the road and there is no noise cancelling which made it almost impossible to sleep. The live music was not excessively loud but you will hear everything, including any car etc that drives past which makes for an ordinary stay. Will not be staying here again. Not to mention the old family room was $440 for one night.
