This was one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had at a medical office. I scheduled a 12:00 p.m. appointment for a pre-employment drug screen and a mandatory TB questionnaire for a healthcare position. I already had a valid TB test, but I still needed the physician to review the questionnaire and complete the required paperwork. A couple of days ago I called this facility to see if they takes my insurance and the person on the other end of the phone said they do. I come there tonight and there is a lady with her two children inside already. I pull the door, but it's locked. Spanish guy at the desk is on the phone. A minute or so passes by and he then puts phone down I assume because it is no longer at his ear. He calls lady up and then hands her some forms to fill out. I was filling out paperwork in the lobby to be seen by a provider and they told me I had to leave because I had flu symptoms and offered me a virtual appointment instead. Not real sure how they’re going to administer any tests or do a real exam virtually. Avoid this place.
What a horrible experience we have had...the wait time was just as long as an emergency room visit, even though there were only about 4 people in there. Then, they did my daughter's xrays, which came back inconclusive for a fracture. I don't think the dr knew how to read the xray results (?). So, I got a referral to CHLA for a pediatric orthopoedist. I went back to Bayside to sign the medical authorization to release my daughter's records to CHLA, which I did, and they said they would fax the records over for me. But they wo... read more
