I needed an urgent appointment for my 7 y old, who had a cavity, and a neighbour recommended Dr. Melfi. Office lobby looks like a (nice) hotel. Staff is super helpful. You get to choose the TV channel while in treatment, which for a kid makes a difference. Assistant engaged immediately with her - so much so that she had trouble keeping her mouth "shut" (if you can say so at a dentist). Dr. Melfi - same thing. Dr. Melfi helped me get over my fear of the dentist. He explained everything in detail so to ease the fear. I recommend Dr. Melfi to anyone especially those with the same trauma that scarred me from seeing the dentist.
