The rooms weren't very clean. Plus you can tell that they've just remodeled them but they didn't do a very good job. The free breakfast was pretty okay, if it wasn't free I'd be a little upset. Probably won't be staying here again.
Had to switch rooms due to poo on the bathroom wall. Need to use a hanger to keep curtains closed, the shower door keys water out under it soaking tge floor mat. Breakfast wasn't much, toast, cereal, waffles, oranges, soft apples and bagels. No eggs, no sausage, no potatoes, no pancakes and warm at best coffee. Pool room outside exit door was open my entire stay in 32° weather causing the pool and pool room to be cold. No lights in the pool room other than the pool and hot tub lights. Treadmill inoperable. My room was dirty at check-in. What looked like blood on the pillows and sheets. Towels had holes and one had a dead bug folded inside of it. Pee on the bathroom wall, though I couldn't get a picture of it. Spit from the last person brushing their teeth on the faucet. I went to the desk and just asked for more linens. The desk man apologized and instead changed the room for us but after driving 9 hours to get here I'm beyond dissatisfied and couldn't recommend this to anyone. I came on a Saturday morning from out of state to this hotel for the weekend with my family for Hmong New Year in Madison. It was around 2:39pm when we arrived and I walked in to check in. I assume since it was so close to 3pm and other times I have checked in other hotels earlier before, it has been fine. I let the lady at the reception know I'm here to check in.
