Comfy enough when you need to sleep. Easy access as its right off the highway. Price is right. Now for the downer: worst hotel breakfast I've ever seen. Biscuits were still cold from the freezer, but a quick zap in the microwave and a sausage patty made a serviceable sandwich. Plus: yogurt and bananas were good. Coffee machine where you choose your brew. It might be just an operator error (me) but my coffee was see through. Uck.
We originally arrived and check in went over well. We went to the room and the card would not work. I had to go back down to the lobby and get it recoded. After going back upstairs the card still didn't work for about 3 minutes of trying and then it worked and we were able to get in right as I was about to go back down. On the second day upon returning to our room after a great day out, the card still didn't work, I went back downstairs and the clerk recoded the card and blamed it on being near a cell phone.. still didn't wo... read more
Overall excellent experience during my stay at the Baymont! Clean rooms, friendly and welcoming staff, and great breakfast options. Location is in a safe area on the loop, with nearby restaurants and stores. Best Wyndham property in Tyler.
