Our keys don't work for our room. which tonight was to be night 3 of staying in this outdated hotel. We have been waiting at the front desk since 3pm and it is 4:24pm and no one. I have called the 605-642-8105 and the 605-269-0644. With both telling me that the voice-mail box is full. The house keeping staff couldn't let us into our room nor could they locate the person working. There was 3 other people waiting to check in too. One was there 30 minutes before us! Horrid! Mold on shower curtain. INDOOR pool and spa were "closed for the season". Guest entrance door car reader did not work. lobby was closed and locked each night with a sign and phone number to call for help as no one was staffed at the desk. Even during the day, including when we wanted to check out after breakfast, front desk was not staffed and we needed to call phone number and wait for assistance. I’m so disappointed in this hotel. From the minute we walked in the front doors we noticed how shabby the place is. It was late and I was traveling with 3 kids, so we went ahead and checked in. Big mistake....attached is a picture of the filthy curtain in the room. So disgusted!
RecommendedThis is an awesome suit! First suit I’ve had and it was a decent price! I would definitely recommend this place for any traveler!
Great service and nice rooms with very comfy comforters, however the pool had way to much chlorine in it, which gave red eyes just sitting by the pool.

Don’t stay here. While here we witnessed, they don’t honor reservations, the breakfast selection is pretty much cereal or waffles, out of regular coffee in the lounge by 7:30 so I thought I’d make coffee in the room but the room only had decaf, the key cards don’t work half the time so people were always going to the desk to get their key card reset.
One word - DON'T! The room smelled awful (perhaps due to the mildew poorly painted over on the bathroom walls), the tub was filthy & shower curtain mildewy, the A/C didn't work, the bedding was stained, and the breakfast was poorly stocked and pathetic. Spearfish is awesome, but skip the Baymont!
Very clean. Pool and jacuzzi were very nice. Has a Pizza Ranch attached to it, really good pizza and friendly staff. Beds are comfortable, big bathroom.
