The staff was really nice, the hotel is easy to get in and out of and it's close enough to the lake and everything else you'd go to South Haven for. Everything in the room felt damp all the time and there were ants everywhere.
I was able to get a room a couple days before I needed it, glad I got one because a lot of desperate people calling the front desk while I was checking in late Friday night. Basically, it's not a nice hotel and it's probably everyone's last choice, but I'm glad I got it before someone else. If you can find a better place tho... I would've paid more for a better room, but given my choices I'm lucky there was anything in South Haven available a couple days ahead of the second weekend in July.
This place was great. Everyone was very nice, our room was clean and the place was quiet. Now would I want to eat their breakfast more then 3 days, maybe not but I've had worse. I love waffles so I was very happy.
