Its a crime they call the breakfast breakfast. Mold in the bathrolm.
The room & bathroom are small, but clean. Staff are very nice & helpful. The breakfast is the usual bagels, cereal, fruit & coffee. Location is close to Petco park, Little Italy & more. Driving close to Sea World & Zoo.
Room had multiple issues: non-working phone, fridge, and safe; no coffee machine; and no usable remote for the TV despite receiving replacements. Room had a strong odor, visible dark spots on the shower ceiling, and drapes that wouldn’t stay closed due to the A/C unit blowing directly on them. Also visible water leakage and trash scattered on the lower roof, outside of the window. I was locked out an hour before checkout and had to get a new key. We booked this hotel via Booking.com for several nights. On the day before arrival, well before the noon deadline, we submitted a request through the app to shift our arrival by one day. The hotel only replied after the deadline and misunderstood our request. When we politely clarified and asked them to waive the fee (which is the hotel’s decision, not Booking’s), they refused, and their final reply was simply “have a good day.” Because of their delay, they are now charging us not only for the first night ($120) but for the ... read more
