It would have been nice to know that there would be NO HOT BREAKFAST ALL WEEK before checking in!!
I stayed at The Baymont over the Christmas holidays when I was having my first grandbaby. All the ladies that worked the front desk and housekeeping were friendly and helpful. I was stressing and running back and forth from MCG so I was a chaotic mess and they were so helpful and they didn't even give me a problem when it was checkout and I was late getting there to pay my room. Our stay was interrupted by roaches!! Our room got switched three times, same result. I don't believe this place will be on my radar again.
This hotel has some negative comments, but it was a convenient location for us and we are Wyndham rewards members so we get a little better price. Our room was upgraded at no cost because they were not all that busy. Our room was clean and the beds were super comfy. I love the fact they supply large bottles of Dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash that smells so good! We did not see anything that made us second guess our decision to stay there. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! Despite having comfortable rooms and beds, along with a great front desk staff, this hotel is sadly going the direction of so many 3-star locations. I've stayed at this location every October for the past five years when in Augusta for a conference downtown. It's always been a pleasure to stay there. Not this year.
