The staff are incredible and friendly. Quick and thorough. The clinic is charming and clean. They charge as Office Visits which for most insurances is cheaper than a typical UC Copay. BSW also provides great resources such as payment plans on your bills, and finacial assitance. Be sure to call ahead to schedule appointments to avoid wait times!
Very unethical clinic. Booked an urgent care visit for this location which says it's an urgent care clinic. Visit was fine. Was checking out for what was supposed to be a $25 urgent care copay, but they told me it would be $130. I confirmed they had my correct insurance on file and asked why it's not the copay listed on my insurance, then they told me it would be $89 (no idea why that changed). The sign says they are an Urgent Care facility, but they bill as an outpatient clinic. This may have ramifications with your insurance plan. The PA who saw our son ordered at least one unnecessary lab test that we were not aware of until we received a bill from pathology. We did not consent to the lab being ordered. No one contacted us with the results of the lab test. But - believe it or not(!) - the billing department was able to find our account and send us a bill. Front desk crew were amazing. Back crew need some work. PA didn't seem knowledgeable and I still haven't received my results. PA seem kind of rude. I won't return to this office. Great job Baylor Scott & White my confidence in getting good care keeps dropping. I went in for a blood test for hentavirus because I'd been exposed to rats and got very sick. The PA seem to not know what Hentavirus was. She ordered a chest tray and ekg. All I wanted was a blood test that could detect that not radiation blasted into my chest. I felt... read more
