I was there for a hip replacement due to a fall. The nursing care was terrible! They never elevated my leg after surgery, only iced it 2 times, pain management was nearly non existent! The staff was so noisy at night it interrupted and disturbed my sleep, what a little I could get, with all of the disturbances going on!!! I called records 2-3 times and they never returned my call! I called and left a message with the patient advocate twice also and never received a return cal… See more

One year ago today (04-02-2020) Dr Brinkman and his second floor team performed my triple bypass. After my echo exercise (12.8 METS!!) by my cardiologist 2 weeks ago, I was cleared from seeing him for 6 months, stopped taking Plavix. Dr Brinkman and team thank you all! Happy Easter. Stay safe!

5 stars! Had an ascending aeortic aneurysm! Everyone was so caring, kind , and encouraging. Everyone took care of me and my family and made sure we understood care coming home.

While waiting for my husband, I went to the cafeteria. I got ready to leave and couldn't find the trash. The cashier who directed me was extremely rude. I couldn't see the trash from the booth I was sitting at. I don't appreciate her comment that it was against the wall under the big sign that says, trash. I even went back to the booth to see why I missed it...the line of sight was blocked by a column. She came across as triumphant by my confusion. I won't go back.

the nurses I had made my visit very comfortable, they were very understanding and caring. I do not like hospital stays what so ever, but this one was quite enjoyable. I went in on a Tuesday and was discharged on Saturday of the same week after having a defibrillator installed.

This is the best hospital I have been to. Due to my line of work, where I travel a lot internationally, and my health issues, I have been a patient in many hospitals in Europe, Latin America, and the USA, with no doubt In my mind, I can tell you this is the best health facility I have visited. The personnel are knowledgeable, polite, courteous, always trying to help you, a good attitude, always caring, and with a friendly smile. The other amazing quality is that they explain to you in layman terms your health issue, possible... read more

Great doctors, but the visitation policy is intentionally designed to actively discourage caregivers from participating in patient care, not to prevent the spread of COVID. By restricting caregivers from the ER, the nurses failed to get a full patient history, and thusly failed to pass needed information to the Provider. Larger hospitals like BUMC have more up-to-date COVID precautions and a visitor policy that lowers the infection risk while allowing some visitation. Even the Baylor Regional hospital has better visitation p... read more
