I have never in my life had so much trouble with billing as I have at BSW. Every single time i get labs done, at the physicians request, their office codes something incorrect to the point insurance wont cover the labs. Multiple sets of simple labs with amounts of $800, $900, etc owed. This has happened with multiple different offices. Billing department is useless and will not help, says everything is correct. My experience with this hospital was extremely disappointing. What stood out most was the complete lack of empathy, compassion, and basic organizational standards. Healthcare is about caring for people during some of their most vulnerable moments, yet that sense of care was noticeably absent throughout my experience. The staff and overall operation projected an attitude that the public needs the hospital more than the hospital needs its patients.
