I stayed at the uptown surgical center overnight following.my total knee replacement. Repeated requests to my duty nurse throughout the night for my pain medication were ignored for over 12 hours until 7am the following morning. I was miserable all night. My nurse was a 3rd party agency nurse unfamiliar with the BSW uptown protocol/procedures which should have been conveyed to her prior to her shift by BSW staff.
Overnite medical workers, were very kind and gracious to me. I felt Dr. Jimenez was very thorough and professional in his interaction with me, as well as the nursing assistants and imaging room technologist.
