I had to get several stitches and I'm in severe pain and they won't prescribe me any pain killers. I also had to wait HOURS before I got my stitches. Piss poor service. Bypass this hospital at all costs!!!!

The ER department is phenomenal!! I was seen within 5 minutes and was in and out within 2.5 hours. That includes the doctor already in my room when I walked in, me giving my story, to them taking my blood and pee, putting an IV with meds while they waited for my test results. I was there for enough time to get 3 bags of IV fluids in me and 4 medications put in my IV. On top of that, the team was pleasant and courteous. They were wonderful to work with. Highly recommend seeing the ER if you have an emergent situation.
a weekend of lies by 3 doctors---sent my family member home with a huge gallstone blocking the gallbladder---he had to insist on an ultrasound and this stone is huge and blocking the passageway---a dance by the doctors coordinated by the billing department; once billing found out his insurance was not top notch, the dismissal process started; sent him home with pain meds only and told him they couldn't find anything wrong! I would never, ever, ever recommend this hospital!
Still in a lot of pain, but I want to take the time to recognize the nurses, support staff, and doctors that have taken care of me while I have been here! Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- Grapevine the entire time I’ve been here these nurses have been so compassionate, consistent, and committed with their level of excellent care! I am so glad that I no longer work at this hospital it is the worst Hospital ever the management team is unprofessional they are they are not on one page with the nursing staff the in the kitchen staff do not work together. anyone that is considering a job there I highly recommend that you reconsider. Everyone is supposed to be treated the same but instead the show favoritism of certain patients by coding them VIP which means in the the Words of the Director Dewayne Pace they should be handled with more care than the others ... read more
