Baylor is normally my "go to" place. However, I cancelled a procedure and the billing clerk told me they would cancel my auto debit in the amount of $694.35. Instead, they have taken my money anyway and now I am having to fight to get it back. No services have been rendered and none are scheduled as I have been sick and have on-going lung issues. I can't even see my regular doc as they have all my extra money at this point. In my opinion, this is similar to theft or fraud. Can anyone help?
Slow admissions. Uncoordinated care between physicians led to a delayed kidney biopsy. Then upon a second admission for the same infection within 5 days of discharge staff again began aspirin therapy which has caused another delay in getting the kidney biopsy. Physician visits to patient rooms are not scheduled within any type if time window, not even the nurses will guess when a physician will visit, making it impossible for family members including the MPOA to be present. Excellent Nursing Care. One of the best I have seen and interacted with for my husband. Very careing. Nurse Jayce in cardo intensive care is over and above the rest. Thanks for a great experience. But on to the food. 2 stars for the cafeteria experience. Food is worse than most hospitals I have experienced. Surprised about the level of access to food for the patients; ie. only at regular meal times. No menus to select from and no purchasing/ordering family trays in room for family members. The hospice ward was very caring and compassionate as my loved one passed away. The family of David Collier appreciate all they did for him, and us.
Met all my ridiculously high expectations. Do they hand pick the nurses and staff at Andrews Women's Hospital? So kind and caring from the most qualified nurse to the maintenance guy currently replacing my paper towel roller in my restroom. I feel so secure and supported. Should you ever be in need of care here, you may feel completely confident you'll receive the absolute best available.
