I visited this ER today as a disabled patient with a fever, ear pain, and in urgent need of medication refills for prescriptions that cannot be stopped abruptly without serious medical risk. No one examined me to determine whether my illness was viral or bacterial. I received a steroid injection and nothing else. The doctor refused to refill my medications including pregabalin and clonazepam, saying I did not appear to be in withdrawal. I’m a first time patient at this location. Everybody was very nice. Doctor was great. I will definitely go back.
Ridiculous experience with the BSW billing team. I came in just for an annual check up, didn’t say anything about needing treatment, yet they still charged me for a patient visit. This is the reason why patients will not speak up because corporations take advantage of everything. Part of the annual check up is to know if there are any underlying health conditions (I did not ask for treatment I simply just told her I have xyz but I’m managing it, she said ok and moved on) and somehow that’s $250 for her to say ok.
