The best experience I’ve had visiting a hospital. Every person I interacted with was very kind and professional.
Dr. Williams is so thorough! She explains everything. And, most of all, she truly listens. Asks follow up questions. One of the best doctors I have ever encounter. When we moved to Texas, I was very concerned I could never find a family physician, urologist, AND endocrinologist to measure up to my team of many years at the Baton Rouge Clinic, but my 3 at BSW are equal in every way! Dr. Williams is even more thorough.
Process to check in and gown for procedures was fluid, initial IV attempt in area I've never had on was very painful and discarded for one more used to. Both procedures took little time and upper endoscopy reflected what I was feeling with eating. I liked Dr. Akpan. First time to meet her. All-in-all treated very professionally by everyone.
The whole team was amazing. Dr. Santman is awesome! Him, his team, and the surgery room teams all took great care of me. They were all concerned with my comfort thru the whole experience. I can't thank them enough, I was down bad when I went to him for care. The surgery he did went very well, seamless even. There's not enough words to describe the difference in the way I feel and am walking. Also, I can't forget Dr. York, the anesthesia doctor, he made going under an experience.
